ARVIND HEGDE Founder and Lead Partner

Arvind founded Done & Partners after a ten-year stint at Ray + Keshavan | Brand Union, during the last two years of which he was at the helm as Managing Director. He has more than two decades of experience ranging in areas from economic analysis to rating to strategy and brand consulting.

Between 2004-2015, he led nearly 75 large branding projects for Ray+Keshavan | Brand Union. Arvind has worked in the area of market entry strategy, corporate brand transformation and change management since 1995.

Between 1995 to 2004, he worked with CMIE, Dun & Bradstreet, CRISIL and Shining Brand Consulting and has managed complex consulting projects across multiple stakeholders.

DR ALEXANDER SCHUBERT – Special Projects Partner

Alex has more than 25 years experience in branding, communication, consulting. As an expert in brand and communication strategy, employer branding, content development, storytelling and copywriting. He is an experienced workshop facilitator.

Alex held leadership positions in top global communication agencies and brand consultancies, e.g. Ogilvy, D’Arcy, Futurebrand, Brand Union – worked for national and international blue-chip clients, e.g. P&G, Mastercard, Imperial Tobacco, Henkel, Vodafone, VW et al.

He has vast experience in various industries from FMCG, Automotive to Financial Services, Telecomms and High Tech – both B2B and B2C

Rahul K Thomas
RAHUL K THOMAS – Principal Consulting Partner

Our resident semantician and all-round Curious George, Rahul studied English Literature, planned on becoming a journalist and then, by happy accident, tripped and fell headlong into the world of brand management. As part of Bennett Coleman in the tumultuous years of the Indian media explosion of the early 2000s, Rahul cut his teeth in cross-media marketing and brand strategy.

Rahul is innately curious about everything to do with businesses, from the intricacies of a production line to the challenges of supply and distribution. At Ray+Keshavan | The Brand Union, Rahul worked on brand strategy with reputed organisations such as Shell, Rolls Royce Industries, The Titan Company, Wipro and so on.

Over the years Rahul has launched a cycling magazine, written a book on a Bangalore icon, photographed brain surgery up close (and personal), backpacked across South East Asia and Europe and acquired a respected reputation for writing and photography.

When not consulting, you can find him scaling a rock outside town or behind his beloved lens. Usually a combination of the two.

SANJU P – Key Client Partner

With over 15 years of experience in Brand Management and Integrated Marketing communication, Sanju has handled clients from tea bags to transportation across industries and verticals. Sanju’s experience in brand management was honed during his stint at The Brand Union (formerly Ray + Keshavan). Sanju has worked on developing strategy during large corporate makeovers for brands such as Canara Bank, Trident Hotels, J & K Bank, PunjLlyod, CEAT Tyres, SOMA Infrastructure, Coromandel Fertilizers, Chettinad Cement, ACC and Fair & Lovely. He has been instrumental in the set-up, project management and implementation of these projects.

Before handling branding projects, Sanju worked with various advertising agencies to develop ‘integrated marketing communication’ plans for clients. During his stint with advertising agencies like Euro RSCG, Ogilvy & Mather and Contract advertising agencies he was responsible for the successful communication rollout for various brands like Hutch (Now Vodafone), Louis Philippe, Carbon jewellery, Le Meridian Hotel, 27 Customer, Madura Coats, etc. He has executed various advertising campaigns focussing on new product launches, increasing brand visibility, brand promotion and consumer awareness for many clients.

An MBA from Alliance B School, he is a member of the McKinsey Quarterly Executive Panel, International Advertising Association and TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), Bangalore chapter.

PRIYANKA DILIP – Lead Creative Partner

Priyanka is a Communication Design alumni of the Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore. She has worked with Idiom Design and Consulting (2006-2008) and was Design Director at Ray+Keshavan | Brand Union (2008-2014).

With over 10 years of experience in the fields of retail, branding and packaging, Priyanka has worked with varied clients across multiple sectors like Airports (Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport Mumbai, Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi and Kempegowda International Airport Bangalore) Food & Beverages (Horlicks Gold, Kurkure, AVT), Telecom (Uninor), Banking & Financial Services (HDFC Life, L&T Finance, Kalaari Capital), Infrastructure & Real Estate (Coromandel Fertilizers, KMC Constructions,GVK, GMR), Healthcare & Hospitality (Chettinad Hospitals), Infotech (Wipro, Genpact), Future Group, Himatsingka, Ranga Shankara and Shell.

ANOOPA JOHN – Creative Partner

Anoopa John has over ten years of work experience in design for branding, publishing, and packaging. Previously, she has worked with advertising and brand design studios such as Ray + Keshavan | Brand Union, Rubecon Communication and Thought Factory Design.

Her background includes a double Masters in Graphic Branding and Identity from London College of Communication and History of Art from Stella Maris College. She has worked on a diverse set of design projects in various sectors – airlines, financial services, FMCG, real estate, textile and fashion, science and technology services, and pharmaceuticals. Her work spans clients like Vistara, Citibank, Exide Life Insurance, IDBI Federal, PepsiCo, Reckitt Benckiser, ITC, Suntory, Brigade, Aditya Birla Nuvo, TCS, Wipro, Brillio, Micromax and Cipla, among others.

MONA SOLANKI – Creative Partner

Mona is a visual designer with 9+ years of experience in the industry. She completed her Masters in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and moved to Bangalore to work with Ray+Keshavan | The Brand Union. She was an integral part of the design team there for more than 6 years and got the opportunity to work with clients from multiple sectors like IT, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Financial Services, Education, Media and Consumer. Her areas of expertise include identity design, brand building, packaging, print, UI and web design. She has also worked for Adobe, as a visual designer for Adobe Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Express for desktop and mobile platforms.

Mona holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering and a Masters in Design from IIT Kanpur. Her list of clients include GSK, Tata Capital, Titan Industries, Jagran, HDFC Life, Aegon Religare, Reckitt Benckiser, Ashoka University, TCS, Wipro and Makino.

POORNIMA BURTE – Special Projects & Network Partner

Poornima is an alumna of the National Institute of Design with over 16 years of experience in the realm of strategic brand design. She has worked at RJB-Design (now EuMo) and at Ray+Keshavan/The Brand Union as a design director on some of the largest corporate brands in this country. Poornima is the founder of Design Orb and brings to the table her unique approach to systems thinking that involves a rare understanding of strategic rigour and refined aesthetics. Poornima works with us as a special projects’ partner along with her dedicated team.

Her work includes corporate identity implementation programmes for the Tata Group, Airtel, Reliance-ADAG, Bank of Baroda, L&T Infotech, Nasscom etc., as well as packaging for Mother Dairy, Himalaya Healthcare & Coca-Cola, Pidilite Industries, Ruchi Soya to name a few.
